This is a 5-inch screen from Sony designed for a camera to give it another larger screen than the usual 2 or 3-inch screens that cameras come with. According to media source, the screen can be attached to “most” interchangeable lens cameras and compatible HD camcorders with an auto-lock accessory shoe or ISO shoe through and adapter.
The CLM-V55 can connect to other devices via HDMI, and the screen can swivel to any angle. The swivel screen will be released in March, and price in Japan will be about $505.
