GOOGLE+

Guys, remember that old social network everyone used to use? No, no — not MySpace. What are we, savages? I know it's been for-e-ver, but Facebook! Duh. For the uninitiated to Google+ (which as a writer is still really weird to type out), we've been giving the new kid on the block its due praise, despite a few bugs here and there.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Author J.K. Rowling has joined the 21st century on her own special terms.

One of the world's most famous digital holdouts, Rowling announced Thursday that a new interactive website, http://www.pottermore.com, will be the exclusive seller of the e-book editions of her iconic "Harry Potter" series. The news is a landmark for the growing electronic market, especially for the relatively small number of young adult e-book fans, and an unwelcome surprise for the traditional stores which helped sell hundreds of millions of Potter novels.

lens rotates automatically to fix its focus on the subject. The camera intuitively calculates the required lens angle as it flies and clicks a set of freeze frames as it orbits around the subject.”

One of the restrictions of the Pad (and iPhone) is it’s lack of expandability with it annoyingly having no USB or memory card ports, thus limiting you to the space you originally purchased. Seagate aim to fill this gap with the GoFlex Mobile Wireless Storage device, effectively a portable hard drive that you connect to over Wi-Fi.

To use you connect (via USB) the GoFlex 500 GB external hard drive to your PC/Mac and download any media files that you want to watch on the go, disconnect and drop the device in your pocket.
