Pakistan is celebrating its 63rd Independence Day. Pakistan is one of the biggest Muslim states in the world today. The country emerged out of the Indian sub-continent on the map of the world in 1947 Pakistan celebrates its independence on the 14th of August every year. Today, the nation comprises of the major provinces - Sind, Baluchistan, Punjab and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province along with the Federal Capital and other tribal areas. The tribal areas coming under the government of Pakistan are Khyber, Kurram, Malakand, Mohmand, North Wazirstan and South Wazirstan. The capital city of the country is 'Islamabad'.
Pakistan today is facing many crises on its 63rd day of Independence. The half of the country is facing flood, poverty, injustice, war on terrorism and many other issues. But the nation is facing it bravely, Pakistan and people of Pakistan will surely get what they truly deserve. They just have to wait a little more and should not get depressed with current situation.
With tragedies enveloping Pakistan since the past few weeks, this Independence Day the mood is somber. With millions affected by the flood and rendered homeless, scores killed in the recent violence in Karachi, the Airblue crash in Islamabad, civilian casualties along with sacrifices of the armed forces in the war against terror, August 14 is the day when we need to pause and reflect. The presidency on Friday also cancelled the Independence Day celebrations in the wake of the worst-ever floods in the country.
Instead of all these crises we being a citizen of Pakistan wish this Land a very Happy Birthday and promise to face all difficulties on its way to progress and die for the protection of this land.
Pakistan Zindabad!
