Wireless Number pad - Apple Keyboard

There’s no arguing that Apple’s Wireless Keyboard is a slim and sexy piece of kit – as far as keyboards go anyway. However, its svelte, bag friendly dimensions come at the cost of a numerical keypad. While such an omission is fine for some, it’s no good for the likes of accountants, mathematicians, numerologists and statisticians who are better served by the old USB extended keyboard. But it looks like even these users will be able to enjoy freedom from wires with the LMP Bluetooth Keypad.

Pakistan is also something of a Miracle - The Room for optimism in Youth

Ever since returning to live in Pakistan a few months ago, I’ve been struck by the pervasive negativity of views here about our country. Whether in conversation, on television, or in the newspaper, what I hear and read often tends to boil down to the same message: our country is going down the drain. But I’m not convinced that it is. I don’t dispute for a second that these are hard times. Thousands of us died last year in terrorist attacks. Hundreds of thousands were displaced by military operations.

The general health and fitness of a significant proportion of such a workforce is bound to suffer as a result. Anyone wanting to fight against this decline can of course opt for gym membership, but Adam Ben-David thinks he has a better solution. The GymyGym ergonomic exercise chair places a full body workout at your disposal without ever having to leave your desk.

For Many Teens and Even Adults, The Gadgets Never Turn Off

Years before the full-scale takeover of technology that now consumes our society and is rewiring the brain function of our youth,  Albert Einstein  remarked that, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.”  He may have been referring to the atom bomb at the time, but were he here to witness the distraction media that dominates our lives, he may well have sounded a louder warning.
Recent research from top neuroscientists have confirmed that the combined effects of extensive digital multitasking and the speed of interaction are creating in kids a continuously increasing need for more stimulus with a significantly decreased attention span and ability to focus.

The Number of Indian Women Willing To Be Surrogates is Rising

The midday sun is ferociously hot outside the Akanksha Infertility Clinic, a scuffed concrete building in the small Indian city of Anand. Crammed into a single patch of shade by the gate, a stray cow and a family of beggars — caked so uniformly in dung-colored dust they resemble clay models — wait out the noontime heat.
Inside, the lobby is jammed with barefoot female patients in circus-bright saris. Nurses in white Indian tunics scuttle among them, hollering out names and brandishing medical files.
The air smells faintly of sweat and damp cement. On the walls, blurry photos of babies and newspaper clippings celebrate the clinic's raison d'être:

But the Parker family has been doing it longer than any other because they are still using a tree they first bought in 1886. Complete with the original baubles and tinsel, their 14 inch tree is in its 124th year and has been authenticated as the world's oldest imitation Christmas tree. It cost six pence when it was bought in the mid-Victorian era but was last valued at £1,000 by experts at the Antiques Road Show in 2005.

Audio Service of The Bible via Mobile Phone in Pakistan

Christians in Pakistan have praised the first-ever audio service of the Bible via mobile phones. The project was launched by E-verses, a private telecommunication company, on Dec. 6 at the Karachi Press Club. About 200 media workers listened as Christian project designer Philemon Joseph demonstrated the service by playing Qur’anic and Biblical verses on a loud speaker followed by quotations from Hazrat Ali, the fourth Islamic Caliph.
Joseph said he got the inspiration months ago while reading the Bible and came up with the idea of providing people “easy access” to the word of the God.

JCB is the world’s roughest, toughest phone

The JCB Toughphone Sitemaster — yes, the industrial digger people have branched out — claims to be the most resilient mobile in the world. The company makes some bold claims. Apparently, it can survive underwater for eight hours; can endure heat of 75C and below freezing temperatures of -30C; and is able to withstand extreme vibration and compression.
If the Toughphone were a person, it’d be climbing Everest and swimming the Atlantic.
The JCB one is right at the other end of the spectrum — what Jeremy Clarkson would call ‘the most incredible phone in the world’.

Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna in No Problem

"No Problem", if we must talk about it, is no better or worse than all the other, comedies that have come and groaned. A series of wildly improbable characters and ideas strung together in sequences of flabbergasting haphazardness, this is the sort of comic romp where the laughter is lost in transit. The credits boast of four writers. But there is no rhyme in the crime any logic in the laughter. Just fasten your seat belts and let Anees Bazmi, a fine writer when given better circumstances, take you for a ride. The film opens with Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna playing two con men Yash and Raj (Yash-Raj, get it? ha ha) rescuing a baby gorilla from the dicky of Paresh Rawal's car.
