Hadiqa, Jawad to perform at charity show in Dallas

DALLAS: Top Pakistani pop singers including Hadiqa Kiani and Jawad Ahmed will perform live together at a charity rock concert in Dallas on Sunday, April 10 at 14315 Hotel crown plaza, midway road Addison Texas to raising fund for Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Pakistan, program organizers Dr. Jalil Khan and Dr. Nasarullah Khan said in a press release.

Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert top ACM Awards

LAS VEGAS: Miranda Lambert won four prizes at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday but lost the coveted entertainer of the year honor to Taylor Swift in a major surprise.

Swift, who picked up four nominations, had watched from her seat throughout the ceremony as rivals Lambert and Lady Antebellum went up to the stage. She was stunned when her name was finally called for the final prize, a fan-voted honor.

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra might have won millions of hearts in ‘Dostana’, but she got the shock when she was kicked out of its much awaited sequel ‘Dostana 2’.

Tarun Mansukhani’s ‘Dostana 2’, which stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Katrina Kaif does not include Priyanka Chopra – the original heroine of ‘Dostana’.

Hummingbird drone has successful flight

SEATTLE: Tech company AeroVironment, Inc has announced successful flight trials of the tiny robot spy "Hummingbird" prototype, which the company has been working on since 2006, a uk based website reported.

The hand-made prototype aircraft has a wingspan of 16 centimeters (6.5 inches) tip-to-tip and has a total flying weight of 19 grams (2/3 ounce), which is less than the weight of a common AA battery.
